A Reflection on the Rise, Pause, and Rebirth of Stylish Divine
There was a time when getting dressed felt like a ritual. When picking out pieces wasn’t just about fabric—it was about power. About presence. About walking into a room with confidence before even saying a word.
Before becoming a mom, I was the proud owner of a plus-size boutique for curvy women called Stylish Divine.

That brand was my first baby. I poured so much of myself into it—revamping, rebranding, handpicking collections that helped curvy women feel confident, sexy, and seen.

Back then, post-COVID retail therapy was booming. Women were rediscovering themselves through fashion, and Stylish Divine became more than a clothing brand—it became a soft landing for women learning to love themselves again.

Even when the market got saturated with new boutiques, I didn’t see competition. Because when your brand is rooted in vision and purpose, you’re not just selling clothes—you’re offering style with self-worth.

But then, life happened.
A trying season hit.
And everything came to a halt.
I was still clinging to my brand when I met my child’s father, hoping maybe—just maybe—he could help elevate the dream. But when you’re trying to build with someone who has narcissistic tendencies, you slowly start losing more than just your dream. You lose yourself.
And I did.
I lost the last of my merchandise.
My boutique equipment.
My car.
My body.
And if I’m being honest, my mind too.

But here’s the thing about rock bottom—
It has a strange way of clearing the soil for new beginnings.
Now, a year later, I’m finally coming home to myself.
I’m reconnecting with the woman who still wants to show up in style—and on her own terms.
This season isn’t about rebuilding the past.
It’s about redefining the future.
A new style.
A new brand.
A new me.

So if you’re reading this and feel like you’ve lost it all—
Let me lovingly remind you:
Sometimes losing it all is how we find our clean slate.
In this section of the blog, I’m not just here to encourage you—I’m here to remind myself, too. To get up. Get dressed. And start reinvesting in the woman I’m becoming.
Yes, it’s easier said than done.
But that’s why this space exists.
One post at a time.
One day at a time.
One outfit at a time.
Let’s rediscover ourselves—boldly, beautifully, and without apology.
