The word manifesting is everywhere these days. Scroll through YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram, and you’ll see countless videos telling you how to “attract the life you want” or “speak things into existence.” But for believers, this raises a real question: what does manifesting really mean when you’re walking with Christ?
I know this confusion well—because I lived it.
Years ago, when I rededicated my life to Christ, I was in the wilderness—alone, scared, clueless, broken, without shelter, unloved, and with no guidance. That’s where faith first found me.
The years that followed felt like stepping onto a battlefield. Spiritually, attacks came from every direction. My heart knew God’s truth, but my mind only knew survival. I chased comfort in familiar but destructive places. I even stumbled across spiritual practices that promised wisdom but only pulled me further from His will.
That’s when I began to understand: we all have spiritual gifts, but under the wrong teachings, they can be twisted. Instead of drawing us closer to God, they push us toward man’s understanding—and often, our own desires.
Yet even in my confusion, I prayed without ceasing: “Lord, keep me under Your wing.” I couldn’t always hear His voice through the noise, but I knew He was near. And when the weight of my choices finally became too heavy, I cried out: “God, take over.”
And He did.
With nothing more than a mustard seed of faith, I stepped out—scared, convicted, ashamed, and unsure. That one step of obedience became the turning point. God’s grace prevailed.
The Birth of Manifest Like a Christian
Out of that journey came a guide …Manifest Like a Christian. For years, it sat quietly in my notes. But in God’s timing, the words flowed. Through fasting, study, and scripture, everything came together, and by August 2024, it was released.
This resource was born because too many believers are caught in the same confusion I once faced.
What “Manifesting” Means in Popular Culture
The culture has hijacked the word manifesting—turning it into a new age practice of “aligning with the universe” instead of aligning with God.
But manifesting, in its purest sense, is biblical.
Biblical Foundations vs. Worldly Definitions
The Bible makes it clear that what God speaks will come to pass in His timing:
Habakkuk 2:3 (NIV):
“For the revelation awaits an appointed time; it speaks of the end and will not prove false. Though it linger, wait for it; it will certainly come and will not delay.”
And in Romans 4:17 (NIV), we’re reminded that God “calls into being things that were not.”

This is the true essence of manifesting—not commanding the universe to give us what we want, but surrendering our desires to God, standing on His promises, and trusting His perfect timing.
